Summer heat & sun to end the weekend | First Alert StormTeam Forecast

Very warm temperatures for the final day of the PGA Championships.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Here comes summertime heat! The final round of the PGA Championships and all over Kentuckiana will be a relatively hot and sunny day. Expect high temperatures to climb well into the middle 60s with some noticeable humidity. The wind will not be adding any sort of relief, with it staying light out of the north.

The trend for this evening, tonight and again tomorrow will be for a clear sky and mild air. Tonight’s low temperatures will enter the low to middle 60s. Tomorrow’s high temperatures will rise into the upper 80s with another sunny sky. In fact, some cities may flirt with or top 90° on Tuesday! Keep the sunscreen handy.

Our weather will get a little more interesting late Wednesday afternoon and into Wednesday evening. A new storm system will shift in from the west and will have enough energy for a few strong to severe storms. We will be watching the forecast closely to near midweek.
